George Benoit joined MassMutual Southern New England eight years ago and came aboard with Commonwealth Financial Group in our merger in 2016. Prior to working for CFG George worked for Prudential Financial for twenty-seven and half years.George specializes in work on referrals and small business in his home town of Westport for over 30 years and believes in the protection aspect of the business.George has won the MDRT awards, the 10,000 MassMutual community service award and several Prudential Citations and maintains his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow designation.George graduated from to Bishop Stang High School and started in the business directly after that.George resides in Westport, MA with his wife, Robin and two daughters, Gabrielle and Angelique. In his spare time George enjoys playing golf and runs a scholarship fund, in honor of his son Matthew who passed away in 2006. Each year they give out $20,000 to graduating seniors in the Southeastern Massachusetts area.
